My name is Allen Zhang and I graduated from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine in 1989 with a master's degree. I had worked as a Chief Physician and was appointed
as a director of the third council by the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Manipulation of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. For more than 33 years,
I have been studying and researching acupuncture and massage. I studied under the well-known
Chinese medicine professor Wang Xuanzhang and participated in research on the treatment of
psoriasis with acupoint and pulse regulating methods who is an academic leader in the field of
Chinese medicine, with unique diagnosis and treatment techniques that have shown remarkable
curative effects. I have been engaged in health care and rehabilitation work for many years, and I
have developed my own unique medical style. My one-finger Zen technique is highly proficient
and is particularly effective in treating difficult and miscellaneous diseases of the cervical and
lumbar spine.
In August 2013, I immigrated to Calgary where I founded the Forever Massage of Traditional
Chinese Inc. the same year. In September 2021, I joined the Hua Tuo Clinic of the Alberta
College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which has helped bridge the gap in
the overseas dissemination of Chinese massage techniques.
